We know you guys haven’t seen season one yet, but trust us is going to be great.
Driven Dreams: Grass Roots Karting Season 1 will be featuring on Amazon Video in early 2023. Filming took place throughout the Cadet / Junior Kart Championship, as we followed sixteen hungry, young drivers through a season’s racing. We saw the highs, the lows, and everything in between, and then some!
Last year getting things going was very last minute to make it in time for the start of the season. However, this year we’re ensuring we have plenty of time for planning and scheduling.
Therefore, we are going to be hosting open casting sessions for anyone who is racing in the BKC/CKC/JKC for 2023.
Again, the plan for season two is for it to air on Amazon in late 2024, early 2025. It is open to all drivers, in all classes, from a range of backgrounds and abilities. Novice drivers, experienced pros, drivers who run with teams, privateer setups. Anyone can be part of the show.
To help select the right candidates we will be hosting a number of casting days in December. This allows us to learn more about you as a driver, see what you’re like in front of the camera. It is also an opportunity for your driver to visit the studio, in Manchester.

Casting applications costs just £99.
Parents/Guardians of drivers will then be sent a document to fill out and online interview will be scheduled for early December. All applicants will then be invited to the studio for stage two of the process.
