Why do you love karting?
Love driving fast, winning races and getting mega trophies. Also get to see my karting pals, make new friends and have fun.
Have you made any sacrifices?
Lie ins at weekends when karting. No proper holidays now as can’t afford one (we try and make our karting weekends mini holidays)
What are your best moments?
Cumbria Kart Racing Club Rowrah Bambino Champion 2021, Only seeded driver in British Championships bambino 2021, Winning BKC Round at Rowrah 2021, a Teesside Final where I started last (21st) and got up to 1st on final lap, finishing 3rd.
What are your worst moments?
Writing off a new chassis just before 1st round of British championship 2021 and starting the final of a race at Llandow just as heavy rain started getting totally soaked and frozen!
Do you have an interesting backstory?
Found out about karting at the Oulton Park BTCC. There was an awning with a bambino kart on the ground which I sat in and thought it looked cool. Then just before my 6th birthday, mum and dad took me to Rowrah where I drove the corporate karts and loved it. I have an amazing grandad who then bought my 1st Bambino kart and my 1st race engine. I couldn’t have got where I am without him.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can do a good Venom voice!
